Cardiff Media is a Cardiff-based SEO and web company in Llanishen, founded by Chris Barnbrook in 2010 and incorporated as Cardiff Media Ltd (company number 11922695).

We partner with small businesses rather than handing over a project and walking away. In 15 years we've seen search change many times, from keyword stuffing to mobile-first to AI answers. The constant is that businesses win when their site is fast, clear, trusted and genuinely useful.

That's why our work has shifted from Wix builds and video towards technical SEO, AI search optimisation and static sites on Cloudflare. It's what gets results now.

Founder

Chris Barnbrook

Chris is a self-taught developer who started building websites for his own projects and turned it into a business. Before Cardiff Media he worked in sales and marketing, and he runs a café in Ponthir, so he knows what it's like to need the phone to ring.

He also runs Cardiff Directory Wales, a local business directory for CF postcodes, and RepGro, a reputation management platform. Every tool and technique used on client sites is tested on his own businesses first.
